Xantrex is a world leader in Advanced Power Electronics. Headquartered in Burnaby (a suburb of Vancouver) Canada, Xantrex employs over 500 people on three continents. Annual revenues were $136 million U.S. in 2003, and in March 2004 they became a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The original Xantrex was founded in 1983 in Vancouver, starting in the field of DC programmable power supplies.
